Return & Exchange Policy
At BuyGold.sg, we prioritize transparency, trust, and professional testing for all gold transactions. Due to the nature of precious metals and their market volatility, all sales are final once authenticated and payment is made.
No Returns or Exchanges for the Following:
- Pre-owned gold jewellery, coins, or bars sold to or purchased from BuyGold.sg
- Gold items tested, authenticated, and paid for in-store or via appointment
- Items sold based on live market spot prices (locked at point of sale)
Due to the risk of substitution fraud, fluctuating gold prices, and the integrity of our authentication process, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on any precious metals once:
- The item has been tested and verified by our team
- A price has been agreed upon
- Payment has been processed (via PayNow, FAST transfer)
Exceptional Cases (Subject to Approval):
We may, at our sole discretion, consider return requests in rare cases of:
- Misidentification caused solely by BuyGold.sg staff
- Proven testing machine error (e.g., faulty calibration)
These cases must be reported within 1 hour of transaction and must be supported by a written report from an MAS-registered dealer or a qualified lab.
Seller Protection Measures
- All gold items are verified using XRF Analyzer, PMV Pro, and weight checks before any transaction is finalized.
- Customers are informed of their item's valuation before sale.
- A signed confirmation or digital acknowledgment is required at point of transaction.
Cancellation Policy
For appointments or testing services, cancellation or rescheduling must be made at least 1 hour in advance. Missed appointments without notice may incur a testing fee for future bookings.
Summary Statement:
All gold transactions at BuyGold.sg are final. Due to market volatility and fraud prevention policies, we do not offer returns or buybacks once an item is sold or purchased. Please ensure all decisions are made with confidence and full understanding at the point of sale.
